About the project
The project
The New Arab is a London-based, English-language news platform covering democracy, social justice and human rights across the Middle East and North Africa. Its video desk publishes explainers built around a single editorial question, here the effect of US tariffs on the region.
My contribution
As the in-house motion and graphic designer, I worked with journalists and editors to turn their reporting into motion: animated charts, maps and archival collage, with vertical cut-downs adapted to each social platform's format.
